ADHD Empowerment in Classrooms
Reading Time
3 mins

Ryan delivers ADHD awareness talks across primary schools, secondary schools, colleges, universities, SEND schools and alternative provision settings throughout the UK.
Built around lived experience, honesty and humour, these sessions help students and staff better understand ADHD beyond stereotypes, labels and behaviour misconceptions. Many young people strongly relate to Ryan’s story — particularly those who feel misunderstood, overlooked or unsupported within education.
What These Talks Explore
Ryan combines storytelling, humour and practical insight to create talks that feel engaging, relatable and memorable for students and staff alike. Each talk is adapted depending on the age group, environment and needs of the school or organisation. Topics often include:
Understanding ADHD in the classroom
Emotional regulation & masking
Confidence & self-esteem
Supporting nuerodivergent students
Real life coping strategies
ADHD strengths and creativity
Resilience & mindset
Breaking stigma around neurodivercity
Why It Matters
Many neurodivergent students grow up feeling like they are constantly “getting it wrong.” Ryan openly shares his own experiences growing up with undiagnosed ADHD, struggling within education and feeling misunderstood for many years. These talks help students realise they are not alone while helping schools better understand the real experiences many young people face every day.
The Outcome
Schools often describe the sessions as eye-opening, relatable and emotionally impactful. Students leave feeling more understood, while teachers and staff gain a deeper understanding of how ADHD can affect learning, behaviour, emotional regulation and confidence within education environments.
